When it comes to the cost-of-living crisis, a disproportionate number of women in Wales are sinking below the poverty line. To this day gender inequality means women’s earning potential is still lower than that of their male colleagues which has a huge knock-on effect on every member of the family and limits life chances across communities. With your help we can do something about this and make change happen. Chwarae Teg is a female led charity dedicated to making Wales a fairer place for women to work and live. Chwarae Teg researches the impact of gender inequality and uses this research to make a real difference to women. We work directly with women to give them the skills and confidence they need to overcome the barriers they face in the economy because of gender inequality.
