British dyslexia association

The British Dyslexia Association is the national charity supporting dyslexic people of all ages.
Dyslexia is a common learning difficulty affecting reading, writing, spelling, memory, organisation, and processing information. Research estimates that 10% of the UK population is dyslexic - that's over a million children currently in educational settings across the UK! Undiagnosed and unsupported dyslexia can result in a lifelong cycle of challenges, from missed educational support to difficulties navigating employment and everyday life.
The BDA is here to change things and aims to create a dyslexia friendly society, where dyslexic people are empowered to thrive. We provide free resources and run the national helpline offering impartial and expert advice. We create systematic change by training educators and employers to become dyslexia friendly and campaign to make real change across society.
We couldn’t do the work we do without support. Thank you.
