Join us to celebrate a life lived this May
2023 marks a very special year for St Giles Hospice – celebrating 40 years of caring for local people, and their families. We’ve teamed up with South Staffordshire College to create a limited edition 40th anniversary ceramic Gerbera, alongside our traditional Gerbera pegs.
Whilst the deadline has now passed to have a Gerbera peg planted, you can still dedicate a Gerbera flower in our virtual Celebrate Lives Lived garden
Throughout May, you’re invited to take a moment in our gardens to reflect and to see your Gerbera and your virtual dedications will remain online for you to visit all year round.
To signify the start of Celebrate Lives Lived, a short remembrance service will take place in the gardens at Whittington at 11am on Sunday 30th April. You do not need to reserve a place for this service but it would be helpful if you could indicate to us if you would like to attend by emailing fundraising@stgileshospice.com

St Giles Hospice is a registered charity offering specialist palliative and end of life care, free of charge for people living with terminal illnesses, as well as providing support for their families and carers.
Our services are rated as ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission.
We care for patients from across our catchment area, which ranges from the West Midlands to East Staffordshire.
Care is offered at the hospice's centres in Whittington and Sutton Coldfield as well as in patients' own homes across the region.
We spend around £10million a year providing our specialist services and, with 25% of this funded by the Government, we rely heavily on donations and income generation from the local community
