Care Bag Appeal

Our wonderful nurses on the gynae emergency ward provide the best care treatment and support for women who come through our doors experiencing miscarriage, heavy bleeding pain and discomfort. 1-4 pregnancies end in loss and this can be an intensely distressing and lonely experience. We are launching our latest appeal to provide care bags. Some women experience a large amount of blood loss and leaving hospital in blood soaked clothes is not something we want at LWH.

To provide some dignity for our patients so they are not having to leave hospital in a gown or soiled uncomfortable clothing, we are launching our latest appeal to provide care bags. We are asking for donations to go towards purchasing brand new PJ’s so we can give our women a clean fresh pair so they can go home in comfort.

Donating £10 on our Visufund page will enable us to purchase one pair of pyjamas. Any donation made will make a massive difference to the care of our patients staying in our Gynecology Emergency Ward.
