Cal-TASH Presents for Presenters

Cal-TASH Presents for Presenters

This Holiday Season we are asking for presents for presenters! Your donation will go towards funding our 2024 Conference "Self-Determined Life: Recommended for Ages 2-102" March 1-2, 2024 in Sacramento. Funds will be used to finance our keynote presenters and offset expenses so that we can continue to offer reduced registration fees for individuals with disabilities and their families and those who support them to attend our conference. With your donation of any amount, you can add a gift to our page and if you wish, leave a message and photo to share why you support Cal-TASH! Your generous donation allows us to continue our advocacy mission of equity, opportunity and inclusion for individuals with disabilities and their families.

Cal-TASH is the California chapter of TASH, the international leader in disability advocacy. Founded in 1975, TASH advocates for human rights and inclusion for people with significant disabilities and support needs – those most vulnerable to segregation, abuse, neglect, and institutionalization. TASH works to advance inclusive communities through advocacy, research, professional development, policy, and information and resources for parents, families and self-advocates. The inclusive practices TASH validates through research have been shown to improve outcomes for all people.

Cal-TASH supports practices that promote our resolution that all people, regardless of their label or perceived level of disability, should have the supports they need to direct the course of their own lives, and to live and participate successfully in inclusive schools and communities.
