We are a national builders merchant called Buildbase, and our National Accounts Office based in Nottingham are embarking on a series of charity events during the year with a view to putting something back into the local community by helping local people/charities.
With this in mind, for our first event we have chosen to work with Rainbows Hospice, who are the only hospice for children and young people in the East Midlands area. They look after children and young adults in 4 counties, and sadly there is no other provision of the same services in these counties.
Our aim is to spread a little cheer around the Easter period by raising a target of at least £250 to enable staff at the hospice to purchase some much needed items to use to enable them to continue helping the children, young people and their families.

As the only hospice of its kind in the East Midlands, we provide vital care and support to children and young people with a life-limiting condition. Now, we need your help to keep brightening short lives.
Your support means we can provide end of life care, symptom management, short breaks and respite care. We can also be there to support parents and siblings through their bereavements.
Because of you, we can be there for over 450 children and young people every year, offering bereavement support, sibling support and a range of therapies including physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, music therapy and play therapy.
Our team are there for families when they need us the most, but we couldn’t do our work without the help of people like you. We know that together we can bring more love, smiles and laughter to our children, young people
and families.
Now more than ever, as we continue to face the uncertainties of the Covid-19 pandemic, we need your support.
