Making Christmas magical for Brian House families - Brian House Children's Hospice

As for many, Christmas is a particularly special time at Brian House. Whilst it’s a time to reflect on those no longer with us, we also aim to create a Christmas that will never be forgotten for those who are in our care. The decorations are already up in our hospice and we’re getting ready for lots of festive fun over the coming weeks. There will be lots of singing and dancing throughout December to our favourite Christmas songs too.

None of this would be possible without the wonderful support and generosity of our community. Throughout the year you’ve helped raise money that help fund the work we do and in turn, everyone in our care. And your support this Christmas will play an equally vital role.

We get very little support from the government, and an hour of care for a child costs £21.42. That could be an hour making Christmas cards and decorations here in Brian House, or an hour at home, getting to know another new family and supporting them in their journeys with a life-limited child.

Brian House is a lifeline to all the local families who need us, and the reality is that without the generosity of people like you, we simply wouldn’t be here.
