How to create your own Virtual Christmas Tree fundraising page
If you're looking for an alternative to Christmas cards this year, or just want to raise money for a great cause, why not create your own Virtual Christmas Tree fundraising page?
Step 1: Choose a template
Have a look through our template library to choose a design for your page. If you just want to see Christmas designs, filter the results to find a festive template.
When you click on a template, you'll see how it will look as donations are made. Every person who donates to your page will be able to add something to the picture. Once you've chosen your template, click Create Page with this Template.
Step 2: Complete your Page Settings
Next, you'll be taken to your Page Settings. Scroll through the form completing your settings, and change anything where you see the Edit icon. For example:
- Give your page a title
- Explain why you're raising money in About Page
- Write your own Thank You message
- Set a fundraising target
- Upload a picture to be displayed when your page is shared on social media
You can see how your page looks at any time, by clicking View from the menu.
Step 3: Publish your page
When you're happy with your settings, click Publish.
To publish, you'll need to be logged in to Visufund. If you don't have a Visufund account yet, you'll be invited to create a free account after clicking the Publish button.
Step 4: Share your page
After your page has been published, click Share Page. You can share your page with everyone you know on Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Email, or even embed it on your website!
Why not ask your people to donate the amount they would have spent on Christmas cards? As more people donate, your tree will fill up with decorations and special festive messages!
