Gemma, Rachel and Corrina have decided to join the staff on the Chemo Ward at Blackburn Hospital and really test themselves physically and mentally by running the Blackburn 10k run on Sunday 12th December.
For those of you who know us well, you will know that running doesn’t come easily to us but we are training hard with many early morning starts.
The staff at Blackburn hospital are trying to raise as much money as possible for a well needed and deserved refurbishment.
Rachels husband, Andrew, has been a regular resident on the ward for the last 3 years, suffering with Plasma Cell Leukaemia. Rachel and Andy have been shown nothing but kindness and outstanding care by the staff and in return, we would like to help out as much as possible.
Please help us support this cause, not only for the Chemo Ward Team, but in memory of Andrew Mclean who sadly passed away on the 12th November.
