Lockdown is a difficult time for us all – we are missing our loved ones and look forward to being together again. Many children and young people in our care are struggling at this time, especially those facing challenging family situations, bereavement, anxiety or abuse.
Our commitment is to continue to be here for these families for as long as we are needed. We accept that there will be an increased demand for our specialist services for the foreseeable future and we must find new, creative ways to raise funds to do this.

Brentwood Catholic Children’s Society (BCCS) is a children’s mental health charity with over 40 years’ experience supporting the emotional health and well-being of children and young people. The aim of our work is to make a positive difference to young lives. Whether recovering from traumatic experiences or dealing with emerging mental health difficulties, we help shape the futures of children and young people through proactive listening, one to one counselling and therapeutic practice. By promoting self-resilience, greater self-awareness, and relationship building we aim to empower more positive life choices and help navigate children and young people through difficult and often challenging times.
