Having successfully run my first half marathon in 2007 I thought it was time to do my second one... I haven't run too much in the intervening years so this is a big challenge for me. I am really excited to take part in the Cambridge half marathon on 17th October, through my home town and hopefully I'll see lots of people I know on the way.
I am running this race in support of the International Prader-Willi Syndrome Organisation. Since joining this charity in 2019 I have been amazed at the work being carried out to support parents all around the world struggling to raise a child with this rare and potentially life threatening condition. IPWSO is a small organisation but with a lot of work to do in raising awareness and providing information in countries as diverse as Iran, Ghana and the Dominican Republic amongst many others.
Please support me in raising money that will make a genuine difference to families around the world. Thank you so much! Agnes x

IPWSO's vision is a world where people with Prader-Willi syndrome and their families receive the services and support they need to fulfil their potential and achieve their goals.
We do this by working to unite the global PWS community to collectively find solutions to the challenges of the syndrome and to support and advocate for people with PWS and their families, PWS associations, and professionals who work with people with PWS.
