Honor a loved one or beloved pet with a special valentines message while making a difference for homeless pets! Our goal is $5,000 to support the homeless pets in our care- like Slade a beautiful Labradoodle who needs surgery for a torn cruciate and Kya who has Diabetes insipidus and will need medication to continue to thrive.
Share a photo of your pet or select your favorite shelter pet from our website to honor!

Founded in 1873, the Lowell Humane Society is one of the oldest humane organizations in Massachusetts.
Our goal is to make the world a better place for pets and the people who love them, by preventing cruelty to animals, providing shelter and care for homeless and distressed pets, educating the community about responsible pet ownership, and connecting people to resources related to their pets needs.
The Society is a private, not-for-profit organization that does not receive any local, state, or federal funding. Operations are supported by the generous support of the community.
Mission Statement
The purpose of the Society shall be to provide shelter, prevent cruelty to animals, and advocate for their welfare. Through humane education, the Society strives to enlighten the public with the goal of improving the quality of life for animals and people.
