Scruffer Lovers is a dog rescue dedicated to helping rehome local, friendly pound dogs from a number of regional and rural councils in South Australia, as well as dogs that are surrendered to us.

Scruffer Lovers Inc. is a registered charity and Not for Profit organisation dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of dogs from council pounds, shelters, and members of the public needing to surrender their dog.
Our organisation is comprised of volunteers from all walks of life who come together to form a network of foster carers, transporters, adoptions coordinators, behavioural trainers, fundraisers, event planners, administration staff and a management committee.
Furthermore, we have a mission to educate the public about the responsible ownership of companion dogs.
