What is Project Jigsaw?
This year our fantastic club Parke Keelogues Crimlin celebrates its 50th Anniversary. From the first steps onto Walter Durkan's field to our current playing facilities, we have seen generations proudly wear the black and amber both here and abroad.
Our club now provides Gaelic football opportunities for over 400 boys, girls, men and women who live within our community. Now it's time to invest again in the future just like generations before us.
Project Jigsaw is a fund raising initiative which aims to raise €40,000 to help in the development our new pitch.
What do I receive?
In addition to the community having use of a new full size GAA pitch, you will also receive a unique once-off jigsaw. The jigsaw will be commissioned as part of the 50th Anniversary celebrations of the club. The jigsaw will have 100 unique pieces with each jigsaw piece representing a piece of the club's history. 100 jigsaws will be commissioned by the club.
What are we asking for?
We are asking you to purchase a jigsaw piece which will require a once-off contribution of €250 before the end of October.
Why €250?
Existing tax laws for sporting organisations allow our club to avail of tax benefits for approved projects. If an individual donates at least €250, an approved body can claim tax relief on the donation.
In practice, this means that a contribution can be worth significantly more to the club with no extra cost or risk to the donor – e.g. for PAYE worker contributing €250, the club will receive the relevant tax credit.
For the club to claim the tax benefit, you will be required to provide your PPS number.
