We’re delighted to celebrate 40 years of care.
In 1983, a group of locals recognised that our region needed its own hospice. The community pulled together and Treetops Hospice became a reality.
Since then, with support from you and other kind people, Treetops now looks after more than 2,000 people every year.

Treetops Hospice is the leading end of life care charity for Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
We provide nursing care and emotional support for adults with life-limiting conditions, those who’ve been bereaved, and their families. Our services are available free of charge, from diagnosis onwards.
We offer end of life nursing in patients’ own homes, counselling for grieving children and adults, personalised wellbeing support and confidential advice.
It costs £4.2million each year to run Treetops. We need to raise 70% of this through fundraising, our charity shops, lottery memberships and gifts in wills.
